5. 治療法

順行性洗腸法 Antegrade Continence Enema　(ACE; Malone）

  • 盲腸瘻を作製し、1～2日に1回、浣腸液を200ml程度注入して大腸内の便を洗い出す治療法。
  • 逆行性洗腸法と同様に洗腸に時間と手間がかかるため、頻回便や高度な便失禁など重症の排便障害が適応である。
    逆行性洗腸法と比較して洗腸液の注入必要量が少なく、洗腸に要する時間も短い点が長所である。
  • ただし低侵襲とはいえ手術が必要で、盲腸瘻から排便が行われるわけではないが、ストーマと同様にボディーイメージの問題がある。
